Southern California Plumeria Society
Confession Time: My wife and I are Plumeria freaks. (Plumeria is the flower of the Hawaiian lei.) As members of the Society (one of the largest in the US), and knowing of their need to move and redesign their website, we volunteered to help.
Being a volunteer project, I needed to do all the work myself, which was a little scary, since I'm not a hands-on designer. But I did the photography (of our own flowers), the design, and the coding. (Read more about this project on our blog.)
"The Southern California Plumeria Society found itself in a very unusual position in 2006 - our webmaster had resigned and we had no access to our site. Mike stepped in and simply took over. He made everything so easy for us, as well as completely revamping our site. I for one, as President of SCPS, cannot give Mike enough praise and credit."
