I recently came across this lil’ ditty from our UK brethren. It’s a free Web Usability Guide and it’s worth a whole lot more than free.
It’s a 30-page PDF ebook that covers the following topics:
- Usability – 4 basic principles
- Writing for the web – 8 guidelines
- E-commerce – 10 guidelines
- User-centered design (UCD) – 6 methods
- Usability testing – 8 guidelines
It’s written in a very engaging style, with quotes and stats peppered throughout. It’s very simple to digest and covers important 101 concepts.
